September 2023 MineOS Product Updates

Big news for MineOS this month. We're excited to introduce some features that will help drill down further into the most sensitive data and PII in your stack.

Introducing: Data Classifier

We’ve added a new menu to your portal: Data Classifier! Here you’ll find all the systems that can be integrated with MineOS for more complete scanning of PII. In contrast with MineAI, which uses context to accurately assign data types to your systems, PII Classification offers continuous, exhaustive coverage of all data types and their locations within the data source.

Sink Into Your Schema

Unstructured data sources get more thoroughly mapped with the newest PII Classification feature. Get precise information on where various data types are in systems like MongoDB and MySQL, including server, database, and JSON path. This gives IT the opportunity to get to the meat of your data sources and types, and upgrades the processing of DSRs and data enforcement policies.

Expanded DSR Audits

When it’s time to audit your Data Subject Requests, MineOS users can now export up to a million records in one go. Export by navigating to your Requests menu in the portal, then clicking on the ellipsis button at the top right-hand corner.

Personal Privacy Tasks

Privacy operations are ever ongoing, and we’ve now made it easier for every role in your organization to stay focused on the privacy tasks personal to their role. When clicking on the Tasks tab in MineOS, each role will now see only the tasks assigned to them!

Beam Me Updates, Scotty!

One last thing, and yes: This is quite meta of us... but we’d like to update that we now have a new way of updating you on the latest features added to MineOS! Simply click on ‘What’s new’ on the left navigation menu in your portal, near the link to our Help Center to see the latest things we’ve added.

Want to hear about more MineOS product updates as they come? Check them out in the portal itself, or stay tuned for more news here. Until next time.
