MineOS Product Feature Updates for October 2023

October has been an exciting month for MineOS, with a range of new features and enhancements designed to streamline data privacy and governance operations and enhance user experience. Here’s a rundown of the latest updates that we’ve rolled out last month:

New Roles: DSR Manager & Data Inventory Manager

We're thrilled to announce two new roles in MineOS: the DSR Manager and the Data Inventory Manager. The DSR Manager role is tailored for efficient DSR Handling, equipping users with the right tools for streamlined data subject request processes. Meanwhile, the Data Inventory Manager offers an eagle-eye view of data assets. This role is key for maintaining administrative control over data and managing the intricacies of keeping inventory. Administrators now have the added convenience of unlocking these roles when inviting new users to the platform. Read more about them here.

Data Classifier Enhancement: Export Extravaganza

We've introduced a significant enhancement for Data Classifier users! Our new feature allows you to export your findings and schema in a comprehensive report. This update simplifies the process of getting a detailed list of all systems and data types involved in your data tracing activities, be it through Smart Data Sampling or a full-scale scan.

Async Copy: Time-Saving Magic

Our custom integration copy endpoint now supports async flow for long-running DSR copy, delete, and other operations. This includes file support, mirroring the capabilities of Mine's built-in integrations. Custom integration now accommodates any request type and allows for previewing user data. Additionally, it supports advanced operations like handling failures and performing long-running async operations.

These updates reflect our commitment to continually improving MineOS and providing our users with tools that are not just powerful but also intuitive and user-friendly. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and enhance your experience with MineOS.
